1. Overview
Call Citadel LLC (callcitadel.com) DBA WorkBoots ("WorkBoots," "we," "us"), provides missed-call text-back services for home service businesses. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and your choices. It applies to:
- people who call a business that uses WorkBoots and receive our text messages ("callers");
- businesses that use WorkBoots and their account users ("business clients"); and
- visitors to this website.
2. Information we collect
From callers
- Your phone number and the date and time of your call, from the call to the business
- The content of your text conversation with us
- Details you choose to share, such as your name, what you need, your address, and how urgent it is
From business clients
- Business name, owner name, contact details, phone numbers, services, and service area
- Information needed to verify the business and register its messaging with carriers
- Subscription and billing status (if you pay through the Apple App Store, Apple processes your payment and we do not receive your card details)
- App and device information, such as device type, operating system and app version, notification token, and diagnostic data
From website visitors
Our hosting and security providers process standard request information, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time, to deliver and protect the website. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives standard request information when your browser fetches a font. We do not use advertising cookies on this website.
3. How we use information
- To text callers back on behalf of the business they called and pass their request to that business
- To deliver leads, alerts, and recaps to business clients in the WorkBoots app
- To set up, verify, and register business clients and their messaging with carriers and messaging providers, including related disclosures and materials those parties require
- To provide support, keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems
- To maintain and improve the Service
- To comply with legal obligations
4. How we share information
- With the business you called. Sharing a caller's number, request details, and conversation with that business is the core of the Service.
- With service providers who work on our behalf, such as hosting, telecommunications and messaging providers, AI model providers that process conversation content to generate replies, push notification services, and app stores. They may use information only to provide services to us.
- With carriers, messaging providers, and registries as needed to register, verify, and operate a business client's messaging.
- For legal reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or WorkBoots.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Text messaging
WorkBoots sends text messages on behalf of participating businesses only to people who have called that business, to continue the request they started by calling. Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
6. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We keep caller conversations and lead information for as long as needed to provide the Service to the business client, typically 12 months, unless the law requires a different period or the business client closes its account sooner. We keep business client account information while the account is active and as needed afterward for legal, tax, and dispute purposes.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses. Callers can stop texts at any time by replying STOP. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity. If your information was collected on behalf of a business client, we may refer your request to that business.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is material, we will notify business clients in the app or by email.
